MARKETMEN REACH PREMIER CUP FINAL
Needham Market extended their unbeaten run to nine games in all competitions following a 2-0 win over Bury Town, to reach the Final of the Suffolk Premier Cup. MARKETMEN MOVE UP TO FIFTH
Needham Market moved up to fifth with a clinical start to the second half, scoring 3 goals in 9 minutes to beat St Ives Town 3-1 at Bloomfields. Richens gave the Ives a half-time lead inside the opening quarter, though the Marketmen had the majority of the possession and chances throughout. DEFEAT AT HOME FOR NEEDHAM MARKET WOMEN
Needham Market lost their final home match of the League campaign, losing 2-1 to Wormley Rovers. They had a few half chances but never created a big chance in the first period but the same could be said of Wormley but they took their moments from a curling strike by Emma Nolan and then a late penalty from Emily Schofield. Chances were again at a premium in the second, but Jae Lewis-Samuel did pull one back and had a golden chance to equalise as Needham almost salvaged a point


LEAGUE LEADERS BEATEN AT BLOOMFIELDS
Needham Market made it 7 games unbeaten with a professional 2-0 win over league leaders Spalding United. Tom Rothery named an unchanged team from Tuesday's 2-2 draw at Real Bedford. Needham Market maintained their unbeaten run with a hard-earned comeback from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 away at third placed Real Bedford. Needham Market got back to winning ways with a 4-1 win over Brentwood Town on a pretty horrid day at Bloomfields. The home side built a good lead in the first half thanks to another brace from top scorer Annie Posnett, but all the drama came at the end of the half as first the Brentwood manager was sent to the stands and then his team pulled a goal back thanks to Maisie Kelly. Needham Market lost out to a heartbreaking stoppage time winner to be edged out 3-2 away at Chelmsford City after a performance that merited at least a point for their efforts. MARKETMEN SIGN POSH DEFENDER ON LOAN
Needham Market are delighted to announce the loan signing of ex academy player Fabian Claxton from Peterborough United. The young defender is highly thought of at the Sky Bet League One club, who has progressed through their academy into the Under-21s and is known for being a presence in both penalty areas. A right-sided centre-back that relishes aerial duels, the 19-year old made his senior Posh debut in November 2025, starting in a 2-1 EFL Trophy away win at Crawley Town. F
