Seth Chambers' late equaliser earned Needham Market a share of the spoils away at Bury Town, extending Tom Rothery's side's unbeaten run in all competitions to four matches.

Rothery reverted back to the starting eleven that defeated Halesowen Town 3-0 at Bloomfields the week prior, although it took until the second half for the Marketmen to find their rhythm.

Early on though, Ollie Saunders' (4') low left wing cross into a dangerous area was cleared, while Reggie Lambe's 20-yard low strike was blocked.

Keiran Morphew (10') then shielded a through-ball safely to James Bradbrook, as ex-Marketman Jamie McGrath (14') shot wide from distance.

George Quantrell (15') fired wide from the left-hand side, though Jamie McGrath (17') fired home low into the net to break the deadlock after a fairly even start.

Bury however were much the better team after the goal (23'), Jake Dye crucially blocking a near post low strike from distance.

Keiran Morphew (25') then headed a long range looping shot off the line, while Myles Cowling (30') rifled a great low shot which was blocked bravely by Taylor Parr.

Bradbrook (33') smartly read Maughn's clipped ball close to goal for Canfer, as the keeper punched it away, while Needham grew into the game more as the half wore on, Tommy Smith (44') was threaded through on the left but shot over from six yards out.

Bradbrook (45') was called into action again, this time to beat away McGrath's low shot away low to his right-hand side, while Joe Neal (45'+1') fired narrowly wide of the bottom far corner from distance.

A double half-time change from Needham - Max Appauh and Dan Morphew on for Saunders and Lambe - prompted a bright start to the second half from the Reds.

Hammond's (47') right wing corner bounced back into play off the top of the crossbar, though Dan Morphew at the far post could only turn wide at point blank range.

Keiran Morphew (49') smashed a ferocious 25-yard strike over, as McGrath (50') shot low but just wide at the other end.

Cowling (52') raced into the area, chasing a great through-ball but Parr intercepted the danger to clear just ahead of the attacking midfielder after a strong start to the restart from the Reds.

Cowling (66') fired narrowly wide of the bottom left-hand corner from 20-yards out, as Needham continued to have the majority of the possession in the second half.

Chambers replaced Ingram, as Neal (69') saw a low fierce strike blocked.

As time ticked by, Needham got closer and closer by the minute to levelling proceedings, Hammond (75') headed agonisingly wide at the far post from point blank range, following an exquisite left wing cross from Cowling, though Appauh (77') fired over from the right-hand edge of the box.

Needham remained on top, as Chambers looped his header from a cross into Dunne's grateful gloves (84').

A great chance for the hosts however went begging late on, Ramadan (92') ran clear upfield only to shoot low and wide, before Eddie Barker's (94') excellent curling strike forced Dunne to fly high to his right to beat it behind.

Needham in the other hand restored parity from the corner, James Bradbrook lofted a great ball back into the area, which Keiran Morphew flicked onto Dan Morphew to tee up Jake Dye, the fellow defender's superb looping shot towards the top corner however was denied by the front face of the right-hand post, as Barker's low ball across goal was stabbed home from close range by Seth Chambers on 95 minutes.

Barker glanced Chambers' flick on a minute later, as both sides took a fair share of the spoils.

Needham travel to Alvechurch in Saturday (3pm).
