Needham Market suffered a tight 2-1 defeat in Norfolk against Dussindale & Hellesdon in a game of very few goal scoring chances.
The first half was a tepid affair with very few chances for either team but out of nowhere the home side lead thanks to Rosie George when it appeared everyone had stopped.
It was another bright start to the second and Keira Topple, with the aid of a deflection levelled it up but in a game of fine margins a long ball over the top was converted by Kyla Langan to win the match.
Needham had made a strong start with Rebecca Stephenson looking threatening but her run in behind was stopped but won a corner and from that Sheryce Slater fresh aired the shot from the edge of the box.
After that it was a half of very few chances for either side but mid-way through, the home side took the lead.
It was a close call on the byline with the ref calling play on,but it seemed Needham had stopped with George running in and some players confused as to whether to engage or not as the goal stood.
Clarke made a smart save close to half time but other than that chances were at a premium.
The second half followed the same pattern, but this time Needham took advantage of a positive start with Topple scoring a fine hit with the aid of a deflection.
And from their Needham looked the most likely to go on and win with the home side having to do plenty of defending.
But just like the first half Dussindale lead again out of nothing, when a long ball down the heart the of the defence found Langan and she calmly tucked it in.
Needham pressed and pushed for an equaliser but failed to make a real clear opportunity to get a vital equaliser and saw another defeat on the road.
