Needham Market FC is delighted to announce the signing of experienced versatile defender/midfielder Reece Harris.
The 31-year old becomes the Marketmen's fourth summer signing, after leaving AFC Sudbury and captaining them to promotion from the Isthmian League North in 2022/23.
Harris, who can play a number of positions in midfield and left-back, started his career at Braintree Town, and notably played in the National League for Welling United.
Harris has experience of getting promoted from step 3, having won the Isthmian Premier Division with Concord Rangers, with his former clubs also including Thurrock, East Thurrock United and Heybridge Swifts before joining Sudbury in early into the 2018/19 campaign.
Assistant Manager Tom Rothery said, "Really pleased to get Reece in the building. He will add even more quality to the team and is a very versatile player who has proven credentials having played as high as the national league. I also think he will add more leadership and experience in the dressing room and already from our chats has shown his level of professionalism and the standards he will demand which are further great reasons as to why we wanted him as soon as we knew he was available."
