NMFC AWARDS 2024/25

The club held its annual End of Season Presentation on Friday night at the Sir Bobby Robson Suite at Portman Road, following the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign.

The club would like to place on record its thanks to Ipswich Town for staging the event, and to all those who attended.

First up was the Academy awards, which Harry Hopkins - who notably scored the winning penalty in the Under-18's historic Suffolk Midweek Cup triumph - was awarded the John Gleed Memorial Trophy, while Evan Gledhill - who scored a sensational free-kick in the same Final - picked up the Joe Sharpe Memorial Trophy.

The Under-18's Player Of The Year went to midfielder Charlie Smy, who also scored in that shootout, while Filip Zadlo was the Top Goalscorer.

Onto the Under-23's, who had completed their maiden season at the club, with goalkeeper Charlie Skinner being selected as both the Player of The Year and Players' Player Of The Year. Then the Reserves saw captain Olly Reynolds chosen as Player Of The Year, while Charlie Smy was voted as the Player's Player Of The Year, with Evan Gledhill the Top Goalscorer.

Next was the Women's Development Team, which saw Imogen Porch selected as Player Of The Year, while goalkeeper Zoe Adams got Players' Player Of The Year, with Poppy Nunn the Top Goalscorer.

The Women's First Team saw Kiera Topple chosen as the Player Of The Year, with Becca Stephenson picking up both the Players' Player Award and Top Goalscorer. A new award, the John Fowler Award, meanwhile was awarded to Academy graduate Sophia Gillingham.

After that it was the turn of the Men's First Team awards, with captain and the club's second highest ever appearance maker Keiran Morphew winning Player Of The Year, Players' Player Of The Year, The Nunn Trophy and Supporters' Player Of The Year.

The club's longest serving, record goalscorer and all time appearance maker Luke Ingram collected the Top Goalscorer award, as the final two awards were given to club volunteers to thank them for their efforts throughout the season.

The Presidents Trophy went to Paul Munn, who this season has ran the club shop, and is regularly on the coach for away matches.

Finally, the Clubman of the Year Award went to Sam Leslie, who took on the role of Club Secretary this season and has gone above and beyond for the club, alongside his role as Academy Head Coach.

Congratulations to everyone who won an award, and a big thank you to all for their efforts throughout the season - the club wouldn't be where it is without it.
