MILES JOINS THE MARKETMEN

Needham Market are delighted to announce the signing of Ryan Miles, who joins from Wroxham.

Ryan started his career with Lowestoft Town before joining Wroxham, progressing through from their Reserves to the First Team and quickly establishing himself as a key player.

Ryan also won the County FA Youth Cup with Norfolk, and has scored at least ten goals a season on a consistent basis at both step 5 and step 4, playing a key part in Wroxham's promotion back to step 4 and solidifying their Isthmian North spot.

Manager Tom Rothery said, "Ryan is a player that we tried to sign 3 years ago but his club weren’t willing to sell him at the time. Strangely due to that we’ve not tried since but when I was meeting a player on Saturday I had a missed call from a former player who made me aware that he was available and would be interested so it’s worked out perfectly.

He’s a player I know and really like, he’s direct, quick and in his time at Wroxham has been a regular scorer at step 5 with 31 goals and then backed that up at step 4 regularly scoring double figures each season and getting 15 last year from the wing or as a second striker in a team that has sometimes struggled at that level. I think he will be a really good addition and I’m looking forward to seeing him around the lads and him showing what he’ll bring to us."
