Needham Market record a huge second straight win on the road at Hereford, who were 3rd before kick off to jump out of the relegation zone by a point.
Kevin Horlock's side made one change to Saturday's win at Warrington Town, Adam Mills missed out through injury as Jacob Lay returned to the starting eleven.
The first half saw the hosts, who sat 3rd in the division before kick off, have the better chances, while the Marketmen defended valiantly and looked good in possession, with Danny Cullum excellent in the Needham goal.
The shot-stopper was off his line brilliantly after 30 seconds, sliding out to gather a dangerous through-ball.
The Bulls had the first corner in the fifth minute, after Keiran Morphew was well placed to head behind Andy Williams' cross towards Montel Gibson. The resulting corner found Williams in space, but skewed his shot wide of the top near corner a minute later.
The Marketmen continued to hold their own, and had some good spells of possession, while Cosmos Matwasa leapt on the edge of the box to head a long ball towards goal, but the impressive Cullum was well placed, off his line to take a comfortable catch on 15 minutes.
Needham had a good chance three minutes later, great patient play from the Marketmen saw the majority of the team have a touch and make a pass as Tommy Smith fed Jacob Lay down the left wing, the latter's audacious low wrapped cross into the danger area was sent skywards by the defender, narrowly evading Jake Dye stealing in at the far post.
An outstanding save from Cullum thwarted the Bulls with the first major action on 21 minutes, Chay Tilt's rasping shot from the edge of the box was tipping behind by the flying Cullum, across to his right-hand side.
Cullum meanwhile continued to be on top form as he denied the hosts again four minutes later. Gibson's right wing low cross found Williams, in space around the penalty spot, whose first time shot tipping towards the far corner was brilliantly tipped away by Cullum at full-stretch.
The Bulls then saw a ferocious shot from distance well blocked, while the hosts had another good opportunity on 28 minutes.
Six minutes later, Babos cut inside onto the right hand edge of the box to shoot, but great defending from Tommy Smith blocked his sight of goal, as Danny Cullum took a comfortable catch.
The Marketmen meanwhile stunned the majority of the 2449 fans in attendance by taking lead against the run of play. A great cross-field ball was controlled superbly by Jacob Lay, who fed Tevan Allen onto the right hand edge of the box, the midfielder then exploited space into the box, driving onto the byline before crossing low for Jamie McGrath sliding in to guide home at the near post in clinical fashion.
Man Of The Match Cullum then made a brilliant stop to preserve his side's lead on 41 minutes, Babos floated a dangerous right wing cross to Andy Williams diving in free at the far post, whose header at point blank range was saved superbly by Cullum, down to his left-hand side.
Needham had a decent chance in the second minute of first half stoppage time, Jamie McGrath fed Seth Chambers to hold up possession well as he worked space to shoot on the edge of the box whose shot was blocked by Bitemo, as Needham went into the interval with a one goal advantage.
Tevan Allen then got the action back underway for the second half, as Dan Morphew blocked a shot from 20-yards out behind for a corner after 47 minutes.
Babos meanwhile was fed in space on the edge of the box, whose quick shot on the turn went just over the top left-hand corner a minute later.
The Marketmen arguably had the better of the second half possession and chances, with Jacob Lay agonisingly shooting over from a close range fight angle after goalkeeper Chapman tipped a dangerous low ball across his goal partially away on 51 minutes.
Jamie McGrath however shot over from 5-yards out 2 minutes later, before Keiran Morphew saw a header deflected over for a corner from Tevan Allen's 55th minute right wing free-kick.
The visitors, debuting their new navy blue away kit, continued to be the better team as Ben Hunter's blocked shot saw Jacob Lay find space to shoot on the left-hand side of the box before seeing his low shot cannon back into play off the outside base of the near post a minute later.
Needham had a great chance to double their lead after they were awarded a penalty in the 63rd minute, Seth Chambers was threaded through before rounding the onrushing committed keeper before being fouled by Chapman. Up stepped Dan Morphew, but his low spot-kick was beaten away by the 'keeper, diving to his left-hand side.
The Marketmen's brilliant team performance continued, with the Man Of The Match accolade being a very close call between numerous players, with Josh Tomlinson blocking Tate Campbell's shot from inside the box, while Williams curled his shot on the follow up narrowly over on 68 minutes.
Tommy Smith then blocked Tilt's shot behind for a corner in the 75th minute, before Needham's first substitution of the night saw Ollie Fraser replace Northampton Town loanee Josh Tomlinson 3 minutes later.
The hosts looked to trouble the Marketmen in the final 12 minutes, but found the visiting defence difficult to break down, with another shot well blocked before substitute Ceesay could only shoot wide from close range.
The latter then flicked a near post header, following a corner, over the top far corner 2 minutes later, before Chay Tilt saw his shot blocked from outside the box on 86 minutes.
Jacob Lay meanwhile blocked D'Ath's charging shot, with Cullum on hand to bravely pounce on the ball close to his left-hand post - after not really being worked since the restart.
At the other end, Lay's last involvement saw the winger superbly control a long ball before feeding Ollie Fraser into space, inside the box, who worked space to shoot, which was deflected just wide for a corner on 88 minutes.
As six minutes of stoppage time approached, Harley Curtis replaced the winger, while Babos saw a shot comfortably held by Cullum at his bottom near corne in the first minute of additional time.
Solid defending from Needham continued to restrict Hereford to dangerous shots at goal, as substitute Rose saw a final minute low, long range, shot comfortably held by Cullum.
Needham return to the Ecologic Stadium Bloomfields, for their first of 3 consecutive home matches, as they host Farsley Celtic on Saturday (3pm).
