Successful Golf Day Raises Funds for Prostate Cancer

Needham Market FC was delighted to host another successful Golf Day at Hintlesham Golf Club on Friday 12th June, with 24 teams taking part in a fantastic day of golf, fundraising and community spirit.

The event proved to be a huge success both on and off the course, with more than 10 auction items helping to raise valuable funds. Among the sought-after prizes were signed shirts from Ipswich Town's Omari Hutchinson and goalkeeper Alex Palmer, as well as an England shirt signed by Newcastle United and England goalkeeper Nick Pope.

We are proud to announce that £2,000 was donated to Prostate Cancer, a fantastic achievement made possible by the generosity of everyone involved.

A special thank you goes to Taylor Made Joinery Interiors, who kindly provided a £500 prize for a hole-in-one challenge. While no player managed to claim the prize, the company generously donated the £500 to the fundraising efforts. We would also like to thank Rob Harvey for representing Taylor Made Joinery Interiors on the day.

We are extremely grateful to our sponsors for their support, including Clarke Fencing, Ipswich Grab Hire, Highway Assurance, Mark Morsley & Associates, PF Bulk Materials & Transport, M&S Contractors, Shine Repairs and 1st team manager, Tom Rothery.

Additional thanks must go to Mark Stannard for organising the event, as well as Paul Munn and Jerry Warren for their invaluable help and volunteering throughout the day.
