The Darts were in formidable form this afternoon and broke the deadlock on 21 minutes. Hayes' low cross fell nicely for Pavey who made no mistake.
With 35 minutes on the clock, Pavey scored his and Dartford's second. A close range header which left Marketmen 'keeper Danny Gay with little chance.
Pavey completed his first half hat-trick on 45 minutes as he lifted the ball into the far corner to put the guests in a commanding position.

4 minutes into the second half and The Darts extended their lead in this cup tie. Tom Murphy slotted into the far corner after Hayes' neat ball through dissected the Needham defence.
Needham pulled a consolation goal back through centre half Sam Nunn to make the score line 1-4 after 66 minutes.
However, any small hopes of a Needham revival were soon put to bed on 70 minutes as Pugh added a fifth for the Essex outfit.
A disappointing afternoon was compounded for The Reds on 82 minutes when Billy Holland was shown a red card.
Just moments before the referees whistle, Dartford added a sixth through Hayes. A goal which was more deserved after his afternoons work at Bloomfields.
