Match report
An excellent result as the lads progressed to the 1st Qualifying Round.

Needham dominated the first half creating excellent chances but just could not find the back of the net which their play throughly deserved.

Going in at half time 0-0 was obviously frustrating but nevertheless there was still another 45 minutes to put it right.

Things did not get off to a great start as Max Booth was shown his second yellow card of the game and was sent off for an early shower.

Shortly after this Great Yarmouth Town went ahead and now with 10 men Needhams task had just got all the bit harder.

Still they pressed and played some excellent stuff but still could not find the back of the net.

Substituations were made to liven things up with fresh legs but still Needham trailed.

With 90 minutes up on the clock it looked liked we would be going out of the competition but up stepped James Carragher to equalise and send the match in 30 minutes of extra time.

Needham now had the bit between their teeth and scored two goals from sub Charlie Pasco to give a bit of breathing space and the result was put beyond doubt when Frosty added a fourth to round off a great night.

Next up for Needham is another home tie against Haverhill Rovers in the 1st Qualifying Round with the match scheduled to be played W/c 19th September with an exact date tbc as soon as possible.
