With the game evenly poised, it was the hosts who broke the deadlock. Callum Harrison continued his fine start to the season, as his strike into the bottom corner made it 1-0 with 30 minutes played.
Although our guest had probably had the lion share of possession and had looked pretty impressive at times the Marketmen looked solid and weren't really tested.

On 49 minutes, Needham's centre-half Dan Morphew doubled his sides advantage. Some poor defending left him with a free header from Gareth Heath's cross and he made no mistake with a header from close range.
Sam Nunn's handball inside the penalty gave the guests a great opportunity to pull a goal back. However, goalkeeper Danny Gay dived low to his left hand side to deny substitute Callum Bunting as the score remained 2-0.
Despite the deficit, the well supported Buckinghamshire side continued to battle but Needham's defending remained resolute to the pressure.
