Match report
The Marketmen left it late to earn a valuable point in a 3-3 draw at Enfield Town on Saturday. A positive result in front of their largest away following this season.

With just 3 minutes played, Town took the lead with a thunderbolt into the top corner from Billy Crook. A sweet strike which left Needham goalkeeper Danny Gay helpless.

However, this lead was to prove short-lived as the visitors completed an early turnaround thanks to goals from Callum Harrison and Reece Dobson respectively.

On 9, Reece Dobson was brought down in the penalty area before Harrison sent goalkeeper Nathan McDonald the wrong way from the penalty spot to equalise for his side.

Dobson then scored his 10th goal of the season in all completions on 12 minutes. A strike into the bottom corner which completed a fine, flowing Market move.

This topsy-turvy first half continued when the hosts equalised on the half hour mark through Harry Ottaway. Mickey Parcell then gave Enfield the lead for the second time in this game on 37 minutes.

Half Time: Enfield Town 3-2 Needham Market

Into the second period and it was Enfield who continued to push forward. Both Bobby Devyne and Tyler Campbell had chances to extend their lead.

With these chances not taken, John Sands popped up at the far post to lash home on 87 minutes as Needham rescued an unlikely draw. Another goal for the rejuvenated striker who turns 30 later this week.
