Match report
A brace from Conor Mclaughlin was in vain as The Castleman went away with all 3 points.

Needham were not at full strength due to several injuries but despite this the battling attitude and commitment shown was very pleasing.

Having been 2-0 at half time it was hard to see how Needham would get back into the match but that is exactly what they did.

Needham started the restart on the front foot and were on top and it was no suprise when they reduced the arrears.

From a corner Conor Mclaughlin found himself in space in the penalty box and his shot took a deflection which looped over the keepers head leaving him stranded and Needham were back in the game.

Needham pushed for the equaliser and it was no suprise when their pressure told as they were awarded a penalty.

Dspite the long winded and un necessary disputes from Fram the ref had made his decision. Up stepped Conor to despatch the penalty and it was level pegging and game on.

However Needham could not hold on too long as The Castleman scored two further goals to take all 3 points.

It was hard against the youngsters who suffered yet more injuries due to some bad tackles but they can keep their heads held high against a slightly more experienced Senior Side.
