Danny Laws – Manager Danny is one of the best managers around who has had fantastic success during his time at the club. Now starting his sixth season having committed himself to the club for a further 2 years, he will be hungry for more success. Having guided the team to the Ryman League Division One North Play Off Semi-Finals last year, the first time the club had played at this level, he will be looking to mastermind the team going one better and gaining automatic promotion. Danny is a very ambitious and professional person to have at the club and a genuinely nice person who will be pushing hard for more success this year. |

Andy Gould - Director of Football & Assistant Manager Andy is a very friendly, knowledgeable and professional individual who is well known on the local football front and his involvement in our football club is definitely a major boost. Andy joined us having been instrumental in leading Bury Town Football Club to their recent successes and rise up the Football League Pyramid. His working relationship with Manager Danny Laws is very good having worked together in the successful Suffolk FA County Youth side culminating with them leading the side to victory in the final of the FA County Youth Cup Competition in 2005 at |

Neil Reader - Assistant Manager Neil joins the club this season and is certainly no stranger to Danny and Andy having previously worked alongside both individuals. The acquisition of Neil makes the Management Team very strong with a good working relationship and knowledgeable background; attributes all needed for the seasons challenges ahead. |

Kirk Denim – Physio Qualified First Aider who is a larger than life character, whose enthusiasm for the game is infectious. A genuinely top man to have around the club who is always on hand to help out even if he is Scottish and no one can understand what he says!! Kirk’s medical room has been kitted out to his precise requirements and he is always at hand to treat players be it morning, noon or night 7 days a week so his wife Dyane must be more than understanding!! Kirk is also very handy on the old guitar and is known for his renditions of Oasis songs amongst others. |

Daniel Crompton – Kitman Boris as he is known is involved in ensuring that all playing kit, training kit / equipment is available for the team. Assisting on match days and training nights, result in team preparations being spot on. He now has his very own kit room where supplies and equipment can be stored and is also a valuable member of the management team. Usually the butt of all team banter and jokes but he takes it all in his stride. Boris is also registered on the clubs Academy Scheme new for this year. |
First Team Players
Bradley Barber – Midfielder Consistent midfield playmaker who possesses an excellent left foot and has an eye for a pass, as well as being a great deliverer at set pieces. Bradley is a very important member of the squad. Rhys Barber – Defender Left side can play either in central defence or full back. Rhys is Mr Consistent who has only missed a handful of games in the last five seasons at the club. Strong and quick and has scored several goals. Has all the attributes of a top defender. Rhys is Club Captain and is one of a few players to have been at the club since Manager Danny Laws signed some five years ago. Danny Bloomfield – Striker Danny signed this season from Wroxham. He brings to the club a wealth of experience having previously had spells at clubs such as Norwich City, Cambridge City, Kings Lynn and Lowestoft Town. These attributes he brings as a player along with his professionalism and personality will be a huge bonus to the club. Pip Boyland – Midfielder/Defender Pip is a very versatile player and can play in numerous positions. He is very athletic and competitive who enjoyed an excellent and consistent season last year. A great character to have at the club and is also Vice-Captain. Scott Chaplin – Midfielder Scott was one of the first summer signings this season having previously played for Bury Town. Usually operates as a wide player and is well known to the management team having previously worked under them. His quality and link up play will create chances for the team. Floyd Croll – Goalkeeper Floyd regularly plays for Sporting 87 on a Saturday in the SIL and is available as valuable and reliable cover should the First Team or Reserve Team require his services. Darcy De'ath – Defender / Midfielder Darcy joins the club this season from Whitton United. Having been very impressive in pre-season matches he has put pen to paper and signed a contract. Darcy is yet another versatile player who can play in defence or central midfield giving the team and manager excellent options. James Evans – Midfielder Evo is a wide midfield player who usually operates down the right side who has excellent pace and a powerful shot. Is a good crosser of the ball often assisting in the strikers goals as well as contributing some vital goals for the team. James can also play as a striker adding the attacking options. James is also another player to have been at the club since Manager Danny Laws arrived at Bloomfields. Ollie Fenn – Midfield Ollie put pen to paper on a deal after impressing during pre-season matches. He has been a member of the Ipswich Town Academy before moving to Ireland to play in the Irish Premier League for Galway United. A central midfield player who possesses a neat touch and link up play, and will be looking forward to the challenges ahead and playing a pivotal role during the season. Angelo Harrop – Midfield Gino re-signed for the club for the second time in early October from Leiston. A central midfield playmaker very accomplished on the ball. He has a great touch and always seems to find time and space. An excellent passer of the ball and free kick specialist, who is an excellent signing to have back at the club. Gavin Johnson – Defender Gav really needs no introduction as he has been there, seen it and done it so to speak. Having played 131 times for Ipswich Town, 98 times for Wigan Athletic and 146 times for Colchester United scoring 33 goals, his experience and knowledge of the game from his professional days will be invaluable to the team. His character around the team and club is a major bonus and will be looking forward to helping his younger team mates!! Liam Jones – Goalkeeper Liam re-signed for the club mid January 2012 from Debenham LC. He is no stranger to Needham having previously spent 3 and a half years at the club. A bubbly character to have around the place and is a welcome return to the squad. Lee McGlone – Striker Lee signed for the club mid January 2012 from fellow Ryman Division One North side Leiston having also been playing at Hadleigh United. Lee brings his experience to the squad and his physical attributes will compliment the squads attacking options. Deakan Napier – Midfielder We are delighted to have signed this young talent from Soham Town Rangers having been unsuccessful in our attempts last year. Deakan was top scorer for Soham last season and also was named their player of the year. Plays as a wide midfield player, is blessed with great pace and has an eye for a goal and will be looking forward to the challenges ahead this season. Sam Newson – Striker Sam had a successful season last year scoring 25 goals in the process from his first season with the club. He clearly has an eye for a goal and his unselfish work ethic for the team is a huge plus. Sam will be relishing the season to get going especially with the added supply line from wide, and will be counting on his predatory skills to find the back of the net regularly this season. Lewis Pemberton – Defender Pembo is a right sided full back who possesses excellent pace and is rarely beaten by any winger. He is a great character to have around who always has a smile on his face and performs consistently each week. A no nonsense player who shirks no tackles, and is a fans favourite. Tommy Smith – Striker Tommy re-signed for the club mid January 2012 having previously played here for 3 and a half seasons. Smudger is a fans favourite and works his socks off for the team and adds to the attacking options for the squad. Danny Thrower – Midfielder Percy is a left sided midfield player who can also play in a more central role and possesses bags of ability. He has a great left foot regularly assisting in goals, as well as scoring his fair share. A fans favourite and is also one of the players who Danny Laws first signed for the club. Luke Wade – Striker Registered on the clubs Academy Scheme and has progressed from the Youth / Reserve Team over the past couple of seasons. He is keen to learn from his more experienced team mates and will be one to watch for the future. Jack Wilkinson – Defender Left sided defender who was on loan at Mildenhall Town last season and is dual registered with Haverhill Rovers this season, enabling him to gain regular first team action and experience. Duane Wright – Midfielder Duane joins the club this season from Hadleigh United. Having been their club captain he had a very impressive season there and his signing for the club is a good addition. A no nonsense player, competitive and strong in the tackle, Duane will be looking forward to the season.
