Yes, We know we are only approaching the end of January, but Easter is only 12 weeks away!!!!
The First and Second prizes have been confirmed. The First prize will be £200 and the second prize will be £100.
Many more prizes will be added during the coming weeks and am sure that you will not be disappointed by the final prize list.
This year's format is slightly different as we have chosen not to use printed raffle books but will instead use a format that a lot of you will remember from the club's 'Christmas Squares' draw where you buy a numbered square on a board. The idea is that there will be a few boards around the club and local area to allow people to purchase their numbered squares.....There are No limits on how many you can buy because if we sell out on one board we will get our highly skilled craftsman to knock up another board in his shed.
I hear people saying how much are these squares, the answer is £1. A bargain.....Let's start the launch with a flourish and see if overall we can match or better last year's draw.
Finally the actual draw will take place on Saturday the 20th April after the St Ives game...........
If you do have any questions or queries about this then please ask/contact any of the Social Committee members (Ian Rowe, Jerry Warren, Gary Coombes and Paul Munn). We will of course be there tomorrow, so feel free to come and talk to us.
