Since 2005 Needham Market Football Club has been sponsored by The Windscreen Company, as its main sponsor their name appears on the shirts and advertising hoardings in prominent positions around the ground. During this association the club has climbed from the First Division of the Ridgeons League to its latest promotion into the Rymans League for next season.
Both organisations have benefitted from the relationship over the past five years but the proprietor of the Windscreen Company (Barry Hegley), in discussions with the club, has reluctantly decided to step down as the main sponsor but he will continue to support the club with advertising in both the programme and around the ground.
The club has moved swiftly to fill the gap and another one of the club’s family of major sponsors, SEH BAC Limited, has agreed to step into the breach. SEHBAC Limited which manufactures and supplies premium calibre double glazing products has been a major advertiser with the club for a number of years. The initial sponsorship agreement is for the 2010/2011 season and the SEH BAC Limited Managing Director, John Savage, says that “We look forward to working with you (the club) over the coming season which I’m sure will be highly successful!”
The club will endeavour to promote SEHBAC wherever possible in the press and will advertise on the main stand, and various hoardings around our ground. The First team playing shirts will prominently advertise the SEHBAC Company as will all club letterheads, club website etc. In addition a full page advertisement will be included in the club programme. This work is underway and these changes will be visible on the website and other areas over the next few weeks.
Without the support of these companies local football clubs, such as Needham Market, cannot maintain their continued progress through the non-league pyramid and provide the local community with a club and facilities that they are rightly proud of.
